Environmental stewardship in action!! Mahalo nui loa to everyone who came out on this beautiful day to help us put hundreds of native Hawaiian plants in the ground. These plants will help reduce erosion which will increase the health of the coral reef below. A special mahalo goes out to Pae ʻĀina Landscaping, LLC, Waimea Valley’s Botanical team, Kapiolani Community College’s Hospitality Program students led by Palakiko and Miss Na’i McCarthy, Representative Sean Quinlan, Limahuli Garden and Preserve’s Kawika Winter and ‘ohana, Sam Vaughs, and everyone else who helped make today possible!
