Mahalo nui to Nā ‘Awa Koa for coming out to help mālama our Native Hawaiian Plant Coastal Restoration area! These humble kanaka spend their free time practicing the art and ceremony of ‘awa and give back to the ‘āina in various ways, one of which is by helping care for our native plants, including ahu’awa, a native sedge traditionally used to make ‘awa strainers.
