Saturday Outreach
Each Saturday, Makai Watch volunteers staff an outreach table at one of the three areas of the MLCD: Pūpūkea or Sharks Cove, Kalua-Māua or Three Tables, and Waimea Bay. We monitor the human use of that area, conduct fish counts, and provide information to visitors.
Each Saturday includes a mini-presentation on an aspect of the MLCD such as Hawaiian traditions and stories, common fish of the MLCD, and so on. Join us from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday!

Triple Crown
Haleiwa Beach
We will be setting up our outreach tent at the Haleiwa leg of the Triple Crown of Surfing Contest. We are in need of volunteers who can commit 4 hours on any day between Nov 12 - Nov 24.
