Different Ways to Help

We are seeking volunteers who live close to the Pupukea-Waimea MLCD to help care for the MLCD by reporting poaching and other violations to DOCARE. If you can help, please stop by the outreach tent. Each Saturday, we set up an outreach table at Pupukea (Sharks Cove) in the MLCD.

If you see a violation, please call DOCARE at 587-0077.

The typical schedule is as follows:

11:30 fish count
12:00 human use count
1:30 "Eco" activity or presentation
2:30 beach walk (a meet & greet and hand out violation hotline cards)
